The HASA years from 1979 until 1987 (Buurse)

After several years of inactivity I started to observe within the framework of the Dutch Meteor Society (DMS). This marked the beginning of a very succesfull longstanding period of meteorobserving which still continues at a still higher level. From 1979 to 1986 we observe meteors from the observatory of Mr. Eindhoven. This observatory was located at Buurse just a few meters away from the German border. The observing group is named HASA which stands for Astronomical Society of Hengelo. A city which houses most of the team-members of the HASA. Of the most succesfull activities of the HASA we mention: the organisation of the International Meteor Weekend (IMC) at De Lutte in 1988.
