Today no chaseday but hiking in a Texas Canyon!

Today changes are low for developing of severe weather. So we have little or no options to chase for this kind of events. That reminds us that the States have great landscapes! Next question is where to go? We decide for heading west, to Texas, New Mexico and possibly Arizona.
We start after getting up early because of the jetlag. Hit the road at about 8 and go west via I-40. We arrive at Amarillo, Texas around lunchtime and drive south along the I-27 to the Palo Duro Canyon. And this proved to be a great decision, see the images!
